MRS. GLASS, 82, HERE 60 YEARS
Mrs. Camillus Coxe Glass, 82, 217 N. E. 2nd Avenue, died yesterday at Alachua General Hospital following an extended illness.
A resident of Gainesville 60 years, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lillian G. Stringfellow, Mrs. Teresa G. Edmonson, Mrs. Jean Walrath all of Gainesville; Mrs. Kathleen Somers, South Orange, N. J., three sons; Martin Glass, Robert E. Glass, both of Jacksonville and Dr. William H. Glass, South Orange, N. J. There are 22 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a. m. tomorrow at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Curtis Fletcher officiating.
Pallbearers will be Fred B. Stringfellow, James L. Stringfellow, Edward M. Edmonson, Robert Ray Oakley, Richard E. Cox and Gene W. Owen, grandsons of the deceased.
Jones Funeral Home is making arrangements. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family requests no flowers.
Born in Green Bay, Fla., July 7, 1876, Mrs. Glass was the widow of Arthur L. Glass. She belonged to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, St. Martha’s Guild and had been a member of the Founder’s Circle of the Garden Club, the Women’s Club and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Her parents were the late Judge and Mrs. Martin I. Coxe of Putnam County.
